Welcome to the Marlow & District Railway Society

Founded in 1977, we are a group of railway enthusiasts based in Marlow, Buckinghamshire, and with members from as far afield as the USA.
Our activities include regular monthly meetings at the Bourne End Community Centre We also publish our own illustrated magazine The Marlow Donkey. Meetings are open to non-members, but why not join us? Click here to open the application form.

Our next public meeting will be on Thursday 15thJanuary 2026 at 7:30pm. when Jack Boskett will be giving a talk entitled "From Railways to Royalty".
Jack's extensive portfolio includes his experiences as an official photographer during the solemn occasion of Queen Elizabeth II's funeral and the grandeur of King Charles III's Coronation. Surprisingly, Jack attributes his remarkable journey to his initial passion for railways. This seemingly unrelated interest served as the catalyst for his eventual career trajectory. And showcasing his extraordinary talent and unique perspective. Plus - Expect a lot of humour and bad jokes!

This will be a HYBRID presentation with the meeting being held at the Bourne End Community Centre and will also will be transmitted on ZOOM to remote members
