Welcome to the Marlow & District Railway Society


Founded in 1977, we are a group of railway enthusiasts based in Marlow, Buckinghamshire, and with members from as far afield as the USA.
Our activities include regular monthly meetings at the Bourne End Community Centre We also publish our own illustrated magazine The Marlow Donkey. Meetings are open to non-members, but why not join us? Click here to open the application form.


Our next public meeting will be on Thursday 19th February 2026 at 7:30pm. when Mike Walker will give a talk on "White Gold - The story of china clay and the railways.".
Mike will examine the story of the Cornish china clay industry and the role the railways have historically and continue to have in its transportation both to ports in the county for export and to other parts of the country

This will be a HYBRID presentation with the meeting being held at the Bourne End Community Centre and will also will be transmitted on ZOOM to remote members
